Murder at Walton Mansion
It is night time, and you have been summoned to the Walton Mansion after receiving an urgent call. The housekeeper announces the reason for this unexpected meeting: Mr. Walton has been found dead in his Study!
Mr. Woodruff Walton has been found dead in his Study. As investigators, you must determine:
Choose a case and number of players (1-6). Each player receives clue cards dealt from the case deck. The solution is hidden — no one knows the truth!
Important: You'll need a physical tracking sheet (from the game) to note down clues as you discover them.
The active player's turn consists of three phases:
Each clue card has a value (1, 2, or 3). When another player offers you cards, the total value of cards you give back must equal or exceed the total value of cards you receive.
Higher value cards contain more powerful clues. Choose wisely what you reveal!
To win, you must correctly identify ALL four elements: the murderer, the weapon, the motive, and the room the murderer came from.
If your accusation is wrong, you are eliminated and your cards are distributed to the remaining players.
In solo mode, you investigate alone. Each round you review your 6 cards, then choose to make an accusation or continue. If you continue, discard 3 cards and draw 3 new ones from the deck.
You get 3 wrong accusations before the case goes cold. When the deck runs out, discards are reshuffled and 3 cards are revealed face-up permanently.
Your performance is rated by how many rounds it takes to solve the case.
